Frequently asked questions

Do I need any prior German knowledge to join?

No. The A1 course starts from absolute zero. If you have some prior knowledge, we'll assess your level and place you in the right batch.

How is Lingopundit different from other German classes?

Every class combines a concept session with live speaking practice in a small group. You don't just learn grammar — you use it on the same day. Most language programs separate learning and speaking. We don't.

What is the difference between Live and Flexi cohorts?

The teaching content is identical — it's the same sessions from Chakshu. The speaking practice is identical. The only difference is whether you attend Chakshu's concept session live or watch it as a recording in a hosted format. Live cohort students can interact in real-time and use daily doubt windows. Flexi Cohort students have a weekly live doubt session with Chakshu every Friday. The price difference reflects this difference of direct access to Chakshu, not a quality difference.

How many students are in each speaking group?

5 to 10 students per speaking group. This ensures every student gets meaningful speaking time every session.

Is the Flexi Cohort just watching videos on your own?

Not at all. It's a scheduled, hosted session — you watch together with your batch at a fixed time, with a technical host present. Right after, you go into your live speaking group. It's structured, not self-paced. And every Friday, Chakshu joins live for a 30-45 minute doubt session (depending upon level) where you can ask her anything directly. This is separate from the 45 min you get with your expert trainer for revision + speaking.

Who teaches the classes?

For A1, A2, or B1 levels: Chakshu teaches the concept session — grammar, vocabulary, real-life context — in every class. She has almost 6 years of experience, 1,500+ students, and is qualified by the German government to teach German to immigrants inside Germany itself. Right after, you go into a small speaking group of 5–10 students with one of our expert trainers. They're handpicked by Chakshu — minimum C1/B2 certified, 3+ years of experience. For B2 & C1 Level: You'll be with one of our experienced trainers — C1+ certified, 3+ years of experience. Chakshu built the entire curriculum.

How long is each session?

Total daily commitment is 75 to 90 minutes depending on the level — the concept session plus 30 to 45 minutes of speaking practice.

Can I join mid-batch?

You can if the cohort began just 7-10 days back. Best to WhatsApp us for this and we'll share the complete cover up plan.

What happens if I miss a class?

Recordings of concept sessions with Chakshu are available throughout your course. Speaking group sessions cannot be replayed — attendance is important for them.

Will this prepare me for Goethe or TELC exams?

Yes. The curriculum covers A1 to C1 levels and aligns with standard exam requirements. Many students have cleared their Goethe and TELC exams after completing our courses.

How do I pay?

Payment details are shared when you enroll via WhatsApp. For the Hero Combo, you pay in 3 instalments, one before each level.

Are there any hidden charges?

No. What you see is what you pay. No taxes, no registration fees, no surprises.
